They sit on the floor playing the same game for the hundredth time because their child’s laughter is worth it. They hold tiny hands through first steps, first mistakes, and first heartbreaks, even when their own hearts are heavy. They stay up late worrying about the future, questioning if they’re doing enough, but still wake up every morning determined to do their best again. Good partners are the ones who choose love even on the hard days. They listen when they feel misunderstood, give when they feel drained, and fight for the relationship when it feels easier to walk away.   2024 saw me embrace a variety of activities, from pounding the pavement to exploring trails.
