Sub: Parents reflection on Aditya Banker's online class for Sr KG at VKE

Dear Sir & Mam,

Greetings and Prayers.

It feels like a Deja Vu when I recall all the parental workshops from Dr. Robbin Ghosh Sir. "We can know how many seeds an apple have, but do we know how many apples does a seed has?" Can a kid miss school so much that he can fall ill?

With Schools moving online, there were many doubts and questions about how can Sr. KG students study online? We used to take extra precautions about the Screen time for Aditya.  But all of our concerns are taken care of very well here at VKE.

We would like to reflect upon Aditya's journey for Sr. KG C at VKE.

First of all, we got to know more about the teaching process and the efforts put up by Homeroom teachers. We witnessed individual attention from teachers, especially Dhara Mam and Vrushali mam, for each and every student. Like an offline class, teachers were following each student and were making sure that no one was left behind. Whether a student was absent or internet issue, teachers covered the topic during extra offline work time. We even noticed that the overall schedule was managed really well, where every day students will get Meditation and physical exercise even during the limited online class time. We have been witnessing calmer and patient characteristics in Aditya.

Even the worksheets are well designed and organized making it easy for Aditya to manage his worksheets on his own with fun.

We could see that every single day Aditya was excited to join the class, even if the situation were not favorable at home or we were out traveling. He is always so enthusiastic about singing the morning prayer. Aditya feels free and himself during class. We stay in Kharadi, and apart from lockdown time, we frequently visit near School to see the School building, usually once a week during the weekend. He is very excited about joining the offline class as soon as possible.

Secondly, one of the thing which Aditya enjoy, learn, and share is his Passion project. He selected the subject of “Cycle”. Many times during his spare time he just thinks and talks about cycles. He has grown so curious about cycles. He already knows the types of the cycle, its accessaries, how are cycles manufactured, how we maintain and repair cycle, which companies make cycles in India, what type of materials are used in the cycle and currently he is exploring the health benefit of a cycle. We feel as if a lifelong affair with cycles has begun.

Lastly and best of all, we saw him become more responsible and manage everything he needs for online classes on his own. Aditya will finish his breakfast before 9:45 am and will bring his laptop for the 9:50 am class. Along with the laptop, he will manage the worksheets, school bag, PE requirements, etc. He will also lead and do most of the dependency work for homework as well. We are very proud to witness this at the age of 5-6 years old.

We would also like to mention a special thanks to Rosemary mam and Navia mam for Rainbow and Puppetry class respectively. He just loves both the classes.

Thank you so much Dhara Mam and Vrushali Mam for taking such care of Aditya.

Thank you,

Father of Aditya Banker

Sr. KG Crystal
